Background:

Ricardo was born and raised in Central California, the oldest of two boys and son to Mexican Immigrants.  He enlisted in the Marine Corps at an early age, like most young adolescents who don’t know what they want to be; The Marine Corps took care of that. He was an infantryman and belonged to small units that conducted special operation missions.  After many years in The Marine Corps, he decided to leave and pursue a civilian job that was similar to his previous one. He missed the comradery of the men and women he served with, so he decided to return and serve his country in another capacity.  Ricardo currently works for Cabrillo College as a Supplemental Instruction Coordinator. He is the current Board President of the Santa Cruz Memorial Building and board member of Vets for Vets. His mission now is to continue serving all the men and women who have taken the oath and have put themselves in harm’s way to preserve our way of life. Semper Fidelis!
